At the Research and Business Development Center (RBDC), we work with university faculty that are looking to find ways to work one on one with promising students. For many faculty this represents an opportunity to practice their craft and stay current in their field as they guide students on projects for our clients.

The RBDC can help you with sponsored research. Our focus leans towards facilitating undergraduate research. However, we are open to a variety of situations. We provide complete third party sponsorship/grant administration from helping faculty to find funding to reviewing proposals to award negotiation to purchasing materials to budget tracking and invoicing to hiring student researchers.

Practice Your Craft While Enhancing Student Learning
Share Your Expertise
Involving faculty has grown out of continual efforts to help undergraduate students enhance their education through applied learning. The expertise and wisdom of faculty mentors allow us to broaden our reach with students.
Our second approach is to provide administrative help. We can help faculty secure an agreement with their client or sponsor. Our services range from contracting with risk management to hiring your team of student researchers.
Collaborating with the RBDC provides faculty an avenue to stay current in their discipline by tackling projects for clients or pursuing research sponsored by external funders.
Our senior staff work hand in hand to collaborate with faculty to assure successful project outcomes. Starting out during project planning through project completion, our aim is to help you succeed.
We are looking to develop long term relationships rather than simple transactions. We recognize that building trust takes time and consistent results.
Our administrative team oversees all projects to assure they are completed on time within budget. We will manage the risk and maintain compliance including employment concerns to assure ongoing funding.
At our core, we are here to help undergraduate students. Working with us, there is a collaborative opportunity aligned to faculty interests.
