About the RBDC

The Research and Business Development Center (RBDC) is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit that is a contract service provider to BYU-Idaho and Ensign College in providing meaningful work experience for students to better prepare them for careers and life. Connecting students with clients to work on projects that deliver value to both student and client is central to our mission.

The RBDC provides value for a variety of clients. Our focus areas include business research and data science. We have a wide range of additional opportunities. Through RBDC’s value-added approach projects are completed with attention to detail customized to the unique needs of each client.

The RBDC supplies alumni with a great opportunity to give back. Providing projects for students can help alumni to stay connected and receive help on work that needs to be done. Alumni also have the chance to personally help individual students enhance their learning through the experience of working on a project for a client.

The RBDC immerses students in applied learning opportunities while in school. This accelerates professional growth and provides tangible experience. Students make real contributions to a client’s project scope while having the support and training provided by the RBDC. Full-time professional staff and other mentors assist students in delivering high-quality results.

The Research and Business Development Center (RBDC) is a separate 501 (c) 3 non-profit with a mission to provide undergraduate students with meaningful work experience.
